Prieser seated people (cat 16328) are ideal for using as passengers in trains; beyond that they are undersized for 4mm. However, you have got

Dart Castings

Aiden Campbell

Langley Models

as well as firms who I cannot find websites for (Master Piece /Supercast /GT Stevens) amongst many others... :)
.

For seated passengers in carriages use the cheap eBay Chinese ones, with the legs amputated at the hip as necessary :o No one can see their legs inside the carriage normally
Examples...
Unpainted... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/100x-Model-T ... rk:25:pf:0
or painted... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/100PCS-1-75- ... rk:31:pf:0 You can of course always re paint them as needed. :D

I can imagine in 1000 years when archaeologists read these ancient scripts of the "modeller species" they will write.
" This species are characterised by ritual amputation and human sacrifice "

Forgive the poor quality photographs but these are Prieser figures painted /fitted in coaches.

Several are reading newspapers /bppks; others having a conversation and so. details you cannot see too well as the train passes by but the effect is there and quite fun to do! :)
