Do you get the feeling that if you built an accurate model of one of these trains, that no one would believe you that a real one exists?

A strange system indeed. I guess it is two rail electric as there are no third rail or contact wire , and it looks as though the person who designed it was a fan of fairground scenic railways. I can't help thinking however that a traditional conveyor belt might be more efficient.
