Testing a different, and very cheap, airbrush this evening with just a light touch of frame dirt on the underframe area.

Good job, restrained. There were times when engines were just a little grimy.

Looking good Steve - sometimes you just want to take the "newness" off a loco - this is why I like the "weathered" Hornby loco's, just enough to take the shine away. Barry

I agree with you BB, taking the ‘newness’ off is often all that is needed - but for testing purposes I went for the ‘late BR’ look for this static model.
