Re: Lyng and District update

That's looking good - I watched the video. It will be great to see how you progress. Once you get started there will be no stopping :D

Re: Smart meters.

Going slightly off the original question, I think many of us "older" folk (over seventy) are getting our homes up to scratch in preparation for the coming years. My neighbour opposite, who had his double-glazing installed a couple of weeks before us, probably thirty years ago, as I type this, is hav...

Just pulled off the control knob, it clicks when going from off to on - two terminals from your PSU and two too whatever you are poweri...

Re: Sandy Lane

I use a voltage regulator in my lighting circuit. Steve M put me onto them - £1.98 on ebay. They also act as an on-off switch. The lighting power supply is mostly 12v with 3vLED's all attached to resistors. I agree with TWD that the layout looks better when the natural light is beginning to fade and...

Re: Wykeham - Somewhere in the south!

Looking good Barry. What colour/s are you using for the skin tone? I’ve used a very light yellowy pink, and they’re all the same. Very boring. R- Hi Roger - I've used Humbrol Flesh No.61 and Tamiya XF-15 Flat Flesh - both matt, both acrylic and both look the same :? I did think about mixing in othe...
