Electro frog polarity issue (I think?)

The image shows an Peco electro frog cross-over I have just wired up to Seep PM1 point motors (not sure I needed to post it). Both points have been modified in the prescribed manner, the bridging wire bonds across the gaps on the frog/point rails have been removed and bonds soldered linking each sto...

Bachmann A2 Tender filler

The latest acquisition to the Neptune stud is a pre-owned Bachmann A2. However the engine is missing cylinder drain cock pipes but more crucially the tender top filler is also missing (reflected in the price paid). See image. Can anyone point me in the right direction for spare parts? I haven't trie...

Re: Neptune Street

It might not be strictly accurate but the way it was explained to me is the layout is similar to a figure 8 with the top loop of the figure folded on top of the bottom loop. I've also heard it called a looped eight. In any case, to do one circuit of the layout you have to go round the shed twice. It...

Re: Neptune Street

Thanks for the comments Richard, progress has been much slower than I envisaged. I must stop standing there and just looking! After a little hiccup with a short, the two main looped eight running lines are up and running. Next stage is to lift the engine shed yard (rhs upper level) and install all t...

Re: Montgreenan

Thanks Richard, had a look, the red brick might just be what I'm looking for.

Keep the pictures coming, they're inspiring.

Re: Montgreenan

Richard,

Looks stunning. What have you ended up using for the retaining wall? Looks very good, more than brick/stone paper.

Bachmann LMS crab - decoder space

Could anyone advise if there is sufficient space within the Bachmann LMS crab to fit a Bachmann 36-553 decoder? I have read comments that it is necessary to remove the front weight, which in light of the gradients I have on Neptune Street am not particularly keen to do. Further suggestion has been t...
