Stalling on Electrofrog points

I have installed Peco code 100 electrofrog points on Neptune Street; points have been modified as per the 'switchable frog option' instructions on the rear of the packaging, the two wires from the switch blades to the rails leading to the frog cut and each blade linked to the respective outer rail, ...

Sleeper painting?

Does anyone have any views on painting sleepers to get rid of the slightly plastic look, prior to ballasting? Or does the ballasting process sort this?

No station, I only run goods trains', you mirror my intention with Neptune Street, or I should say I mirro...

Excellent layout, something to aspire to.

Without being greedy would like to see closer images of the various sections.

Re: My layout

Well impressed, someone after my own heart, a long continuous run and ample sidings. Is that 3 circuits to get round the layout?

Being at a similar stage I'll be interested to see how the ballasting comes along.

As others have said, look forward to more images.

What a cracking idea, bet a corrugated fence looks good. I'll certainly be using the method.

Keep the tips coming.

Re: Electro frog polarity issue (I think?)

Spot on advice as always, swapping D & E, then reconnecting the F wire has removed the short. Many thanks.

Now for more wiring up!

Neptune Street

Having just posted a query regarding electro points I thought I'd just add a quick update to show I'm still here. With a big thrust on the electrics there isn't much progress to see. Focus is currently on the control panel; switches for the point motors and route indicators. https://i.postimg.cc/CnK...
