Hi 1000uF should be OK though larger values will give a greater whack! Try the Seep off the point/layout in free air. Does it 'pop' over and back both ways? To double check... I was told by an open reach engineer (open reach I was told is not part of BT they had to remove BT from their vans) When we lived in Cumbria an open reach engineer was trying to sort out our crawling internet speed in our house and he told us that they had been complaining about the out dated loco...

Maplin have reappeared but as on line retail only and currently they are not selling components or some other items the old shops and web used to sell. Wonder if it will become popular again??
Apparently the Maplin name was purchased and is being used by another company.
