Model shops are few and far between in Aus. This shop although ,mainly specialising in Continental rail, do have some British outline. I trust them as they have done some work for me. The fact that gear "falls off " apparently not being secured (glued?) would I think indicate problems at the factory...

Bought new at a model shop in Aus. First noticed something was amiss when the center splasher with the nameplate fell off when unpacking it. Placed it back in the slot, but I can't see what holds it in?

What about plastic corrugated flute board. It's light, can be joined with gaffer tape and bend through 90 degrees
