Thanks for some great tips, exactly what I needed.

I have a few of the black Hornby figures sitting around, the one's they used to supply in the detail packs, at the moment I gave then a grey primer coat so can build on from that.

changed CV150 from 0 to 1 and all is well, didn't bother with 154 /155

suggestions please for flesh paint and driver's / fireman's overalls etc

Thanks all

I searched the Hornby forum on Yelrow's suggestion and found a post that along with CV150 also to change CV154 and CV155. Going for a play now, will let you know.

Small issue with the above On DCC SS128, slow running from 003 to 020 loco jerks as it slowly runs, issue clears as the speed is increased. It's a pre-owned loco and DC running is enabled, wheels clean, track clean etc etc I will turn DC running off and put it on the rolling road for an hour but apa...

Last time I went to the British GP it was at Brands Hatch in 1970 - and the race was won by Jochen Rindt in a Gold Leaf Team Lotus 72. Silverstone is definitely on my bucket list, the plan is to hire a small recreation van. However SiL is looking to buy a camper van for fishing trips so that may be the way we go.
