My back scene, using the double-sided tape method, was attached to the boards whilst they were flat on the floor and then the boards attached to the layout. The back scene is just shy of a foot above the layout height. I taped only across the top and let the baseboard hold the lower edge in place. C...

Looks legit.

If it's compatible with a variety of DCC control systems and it does a bit more than stop a train at a signal, there could be something in it.

Quite a pronounced difference. Is it a trick of the light or is the black inside the lining different from the black outside?
