MG, have a look at the scheppach 8 inch Table top Saw with sliding side table for £110. Gives 10 mm cut.

Speaking as an effortless woodworker, with a large workshop, and most of Norms machines, i use a Startrite Table Saw for all this type of small strip work. The words you need to remember with table saws, are Sacrificial Strips. Any Norm, devotees. like me watched him week in , week out, cut tiny pie...

Thank you for explanation. Not sure i am a fan. Call me old fashioned but there is something hands on, about manually checking your oil.

To go with sealed batteries. My dad always used to top up his battery cells, and insisted on taking out all stoppers, when he charged them up. How are you supposed to check your own oil, with no dipstick.

WTD, Heather said i was out of touch and old fashioned when i mentioned this to her, but also said there was No Way, she would ever leave here by car, alone, without a spare wheel. do you have a proper spare tyre. These days, its either a funny temporary thing, or in my sons case, none, but a get you home repair kit.
