Steve, to me thats a coach screw. Interesting. I would certainly attempt the glue fix, before paying for a chippie, who will not be able to come till about july, based on isolation

As a woodworker, solution normally, would be to gain access to the joist ,holding the post, and re secure, just as steve said, but often , its easier said then done. White woodworking glue poured down all four sides, would hold it, but you need to stop it running out below.. if you can pack all four...

WTD, agree, i was really aiming it at Sandy, in view of his problem with his purchase. 90% of what we buy on line, now needs an sms. Problem being that our mobiles are for emergency only, and never turned on. Hence when turned on, usually flat. Tis a pain, but i am happy with the increased security.

On the question of cards on line, the EEC have introduced a new security system, whereby when you buy on line, before payment can be accepted, your bank has to send an sms, with a code. You then enter that, and card and payment accepted. I know not whether it has yet reached uk, but certainly Paypal...

-My daddy said you always have to finish one project before you start another. I was unaware you had finished your end to end, dont you know. Thats why i dont do scenery or ballasting. Mine is never finished.
