Re: Model railway constructor magazine

Magazines today are not like they used to be. I remember they had articles on building things from scratch, not like now when they show you how to assemble a kit that has already come with instructions.... Also too many '10 best ways/glues/paints/brushes/track pins/whatever' taking up 10 pages. Too ...

Any ideas, Regards, Tom.
Have you considered using a microwave oven?
The casing could be cut away leaving just the base with the drive unit, you could fix the turntable deck to the glass platter and very other turn would rotate in the opposite direction.

Re: KR Models Resurrects King and Shark from DJM Cads.

Looks like they have removed the page, maybe the news was released too early.
The header bar still contains the page content, so there must be something to it.

Re: 89121 Heljan Electronic 90ft Turntable DCC Ready

I think mine is quiet enough.
The only criticism I have is that it doesn't realign accurately on a 180° turn.

Shaving mirrors can have the same effect.
As my mirrors don't grow any hair I don't have to do this.

Re: Words fail me!

They originally only asked for £500.
We originally hoped for £500 to fund some of our rebuilding costs.
then raised it to £75,000.
£57,973
raised of £75,000 target by 3545 supporters
That's a big difference in what they thought was needed.
