This may be due to the way different DCC controllers regard 2, 3 and 4 digit addresses. Address 3 (for example) may be coded as 3 or 03 or 003 or 0003 I think and your controller may regard address 3 differently to the way the decoder is set. Try resetting the decoder. If you need to find out what the models are that you have, you are welcome to post photos to help in identification.

Older models tend to have a makers name and number on them. Newer models may only have a makers name.

If you have the correct original boxes, values are much higher.

AFAIK parking lights are still required in the UK if you park on the road where the speed limit is over 30mph

It's the same on many cars nowadays. Bumper needs to come off on my Mazda3 to change the main beam bulb but the dipped bulb can be changed without taking the bumper off. If you do manage to get an LED bulb fitted, the car's computer may put up a fault code due to different current draw or lack of a ...

The idea is that the flat side of the cutters make the good cut. The other side is always chewed up, you just trim the chewed end off with the flat side of the cutters to get another good end. You shouldn't expect to be able to put track joiners on the damaged rail ends.
