Re: Space X launch today

As I said previously... Wosh and its gone into space! Most of it never to be seen again! Cost = mega $. What a boring item IMO. A space rocket launch is now an everyday event. USA, China and Europe and every other country with a few Billon $ spare are launching space rockets, including India, who t...

Just bought a new tip and after tinning 6 wires the tip will no longer hold solder and appears blackened. I’m using an antex 35w iron, 63/ 37 solder and DCC sapphic li...

Re: International Shipping Costs?

hang on thread says International Shipping Costs :o

Just the usual thread drift. Chops reminiscing about when in Britain in the mid-sixties and how verdant it was and me pointing out how much had changed since. Wrist duly slapped.

Re: International Shipping Costs?

Where we live is still in the main surrounded by pleasant greenery. If I look down the crescent I can see a wooded valley surrounding two Victorian reservoirs, the woods were a particular go to place in those times. Still a pleasant place to walk but like many places seems to attract undesirables th...

Re: International Shipping Costs?

My largest concern is throwing away my return ticket and making a life in the UK. I grew to love that verdant land when we lived there '66 to '67- like a song I can't get out of my head. A peculiar longing that somehow I belong "there" more than "here." I long to feel British soil under my feet and...

Re: Cobalt & Seep PM1 easier fitting

At those prices it is probably cost effective to buy your own 3D printer and make your own. They are flat shapes with a few holes going through that does not require much effort to design.
