Lawn mower power cable wires.

I have stripped out the two wires from and old lawn mower power cable and I have another couple of power cables also available to strip out. Would these wires be suitable for my new layouts bus circuits please?
If not what else could I use them for?

Re: WELCOME TO ALL

I am delighted that you are back up and running, as a bit of a novice with my baseboard almost finished I will be asking a few questions over the next few weeks/months and I am sure you will provide the answers. Well done to all concerned for resurrecting it.
