Re: Warley 2020 Cancelled

I am very glad that I am not the only ‘anti anorak man’ at exhibitions.

Re: Atlas 60 degree crossover.

I like the thought of making my own points, but I am not far enough down the experienced model railway road yet to even consider it. I must say I admire the ingenuity shown by many model railway folk.

Re: Atlas 60 degree crossover.

I hope you are right Mountain Goat. I just find it a bit odd that nobody does one, model railways is all about compromise, and this is a compromise. Maybe of course all modellers like everything to be an exact replica and don’t like to compromise. I will report back once I get my crossing from Marcw...

Re: Atlas 60 degree crossover.

G’day Ron S, 1/ I am using regular RTR rolling stock and have no problems elsewhere with any of it. 2/ I am using Peco code 100 track and electrofrog points. 3/ I think the problem is the flangeways are not deep enough on this Atlas Crossover + 0-4-0’s and my Schools Class are getting beached becaus...

Re: Warley 2020 Cancelled

Ha ha walkingthedog, I am glad I am not the only that has this problem. Always a big bloke with a big anorak and rucksack and who appears to be allergic to water.

Atlas 60 degree crossover.

Help again please. I have an Atlas 60 degree crossover with my Peco track. This crossover fits my track plan perfectly. I bought it because I could not find an equivalent Peco or Hornby crossover at the same angle. Now that I have laid some track, rolling stock does not go over it very smoothly and ...
