Re: South Auckland Junction

Moved a tiny bit forward. Sited my leverframe, cut away a bit more cork, allowing some more play, and keeps the wires flat. Tested the fitting of one wire, which will attach to the one in the tube using terminal block innards. Quite happy. Sanded some more, now level where required. Starting a new j...

Re: South Auckland Junction

Work and life in general has got in the way lately, however today after a second coat of filler went on last week, I have attacked it with an electric sander.

More work to do, and some places will nedd some extra filler.

All wires still move nice and smooth in the tubes, so far.

I like this, a great space to let your imagination run free.

Re: South Auckland Junction

The control panel end is purposefully loose to allow for some fettling to get the movement smooth. I...

I would love a round and round, but alas space prohibits it.

Re: South Auckland Junction

Today I have been drilling a few holes, making some bigger, wiring up some switches, and playing with my new buy.

No visible progress but infrastructure wise it is moving forward slowly.

Re: Advice on DC circuit

Thank you. I have had more thoughts and the direction indicator was overkill. The polarity question was to get the LED to light up, when the power is set to reverse, it is going against how the LED in the switch I tried is set up. I have decided to do it the easy way, and some light switches are go...

Re: LUMSDONIA

I assume they give a decent texture to the undersides of the arches as well? Nope, I have rolled DAS clay flat and embossed with a texture roller, then applied while supple, to the underside of the lolly sticks Piccies will follow https://i.postimg.cc/s1yZYGjr/Stone-bridge-underside-1.jpg There are...
