Re: Modelling On A Shoestring.

Thanks for replying - all the bits are still in a cardboard box awaiting final assembly!
Pleased with my initial construction, then fell at the final hurdle - just can't get my head round the electrics

My first attempt was with a cut up coke can but found that the foil containers from a Chinese take away was perfect.
Thanks Steve, I'll do some trials :D

Now I'm not averse to a bit of Adult Content, but a) it's before the 9 pm watershed and b) I was hoping to see some model trains!!!

Re: Montgreenan

anybody got any experience / tips on how best to create climbing plants as I think my bridge parapets might look better with some subtle greenery ? Thanks Richard. There is on here somewhere an amazing layout with a very overgrown area, derelict building, rusty car, chickens all over the place etc....

Re: Montgreenan

Brilliant! Much more realistic than a lot of ready-to-plant (!) products, which tend to be a bit gaudy. IMO.

Hi there Randy, Berwick-upon-Tweed still has 2 platforms in use under road bridge and I'm sure must be many more.
