May I just say that in 1980 I had major surgery to remove an extremely large gall bladder that contained over a dozen odd shaped large stones approximately 1/2 inch in size. Before the op I was often very poorly and in great pain. About a month after I was fine and could eat what I liked. I therefore do know what I am talking about and any reference to the operation and diet was about me, nobody else.

Just looked in and learning medical stuff. I hope it's not helpful, but it might be.

Had a trip today from High Wycombe to Birmingham on a Chiltern Railways train pulled by a Class 68. Nice trip. 16 return, pretty good.

Well I am very sorry to have upset any body here. Was not my intention. But I have noticed in the past when people have mentioned things like this, that certain people on here are not the most understanding types. You should have gone through what us two have in the last 2 years. Thats is all I am going to say on the matter. That is the end of it And Terry, I do not think I was the least bit unfair. You just dont know what the full story is.

It was clockwork and yes it did have a DVT at the London end, all the Chiltern Line 68's have DVT's.
