I am sorry to poor water on the camp fire, but don't you think at the end of the day after buying spares you will end up spending more money than if you had bought good complete coaches second hand in the first place.
Believe me I know as I have found out the hard way myself.
Spares prices these days are getting ridiculous. The bogies alone are going to cost 3/6 or more each. By the time you have chassis for them and new bogies and postage on top you may well just have gone to somewhere like Hattons and saved some money. Or maybee e-bay. And where you are going to find the coach ends I dont know.

It could well end up a pipe dream.
I just wasn't going to pass up two coach boddies that march up to my new loco for 50p each.

If I get lucky on eBay I'll find the chassis with bogies attached still.

Also the door ends are part of the chassis on this model.

I'm up for a challenge and I may try to scratchbuild the door ends and kitbash the chassis from another coach or something.

I have found a couple of ebay listings with pairs of coaches on for around 10. I have tried to pm you links but there seems to be a problem with your messages.

I got your pm bud, can not reply. Is your in box full? It is saying you have chosen not to accept PM's or there may be another problem.

Thanks to pannier I have bought some incomplete mk1 coaches off eBay.
One is missing it's roof which is fine as I have two complete bodies, they are both missing couplings but I can do that fix easilly.
I will be left with a 50p body and no chassis but I will keep my eyes peeled on eBay for a chassis with corridor ends so I can have 4 early br maroon coaches.

The first coach bodies you showed in the pics at the start of the thread are LMS coaches. I have a single coach in early BR livery of one of these. They are shorter then B.R. Mk1 coaches and have a different design, though they do have a similar look to them. The most notable difference to look at are the ribbs on the roof. The windows also have slight differences to them as well if compared to a MK1.

(I only write this in case you were referring to the coaches being MK1's. It may just be the way I'm reading the posts).
