I went today and got stuck within 30 seconds of trying to park. The event was well worth the 2 hour drive IMO. Parking down near the gents toilets worked out well in the end as i found a corner that allowed me to be half parked on tarmac.

Yes, try to keep at least one driving wheel on the tarmac and you'll be OK.
