3 inches will need 90 inches up plus the level bit then 90 inches down again.

Thanks you, its important to keep the track flat some 9mm MDF or PLY cut into strips will help a lot, some pictures while you work would help others doing some thing similar.......

If the track going "over" is NOT the same track as going "under" then you can reduce length of incline by up to half by inclining the lower downwards whilst inclining the upper upwards.

Added a new incline, the purpose is to allow a train the Green Coaches (in Platform 1, sorry no platform it needs 1/4" shaving off) in this case to reverse its direction with out any shunt moves, so the Pullman is in Platform 2 leaves and goes all round the circuit and would end up back where it started, but if it goes into Platform 1 (where the Green Coacher is/were) and carries on it journey it can travel all round the circuit in the other direction, arriving back at Platform 3 facing the other way, it can reverse via the loop around the loco depot and end up back at Platform 1/2..Technicalities this required 2 DCC reversing sections, 1 is the track in Platform 1, the other the 7th track away from track one the exit from the loco depot, 2 Tam Valley Duels frogs set up in paired mode. Difficulties mainly strecthing to fit the track and incline, Some pictures
