Was thinking of ways to make my own wheels as 9.50 a pair is not to my budget. Ok, I appreciate they are good wheels. I do agree they are impressive things. £35 is not too bad... I guess it would not be easy to scratch build wagons for less then a fiver each.
Track.. This isn't cheap but does look as if it should last a while. I believe it is code 124? Would one be able to use code 100 and make ones own track... Just typing out loud...
