I have 2 engines. When on the track, or with contacts on the wheels, the engine will run for a short period, slow down, then stop.

I have 2 x R965 controllers and 2 x C912 transformers.
Have tried them in all combination with the same result.

Any suggestions and ideas would be appreciated.

Hi dpj........the Hornby R965 controllers are not very capable and it is very easy for them to overload and shut down due to the thermal cut-out caused by some motors needing more current than the R965 can cope with.......would be worth investing in a better quality controller........HB
