Default Message folder not big enough

My message folder keeps getting filled up (can't help being so popular ). I do delete stuff from time to time, but some stuff I'd like to keep longer. Is there some where else we can save them, or copy them?

OK, I created a folder, moved some messages there but my message counter remains the same - 35 out of 50 allowed. I wanted to move them to REDUCE my message count - don't see the point of this unless I'm missing something?

Has Tinker has said Terry, I have just gone into Pages on my Mac, opened a new Document, then copied and pasted them to the page and then deleted all the messages except a couple. Then if I want to see past messages I just open the document and click on the message I want to see and it goes to the site with the message... easy....
