I think I would preposition the track about 1 inch in to sleeper ends from the baseboards edge. Its too close at the moment and railway stock may hit any screen fitted along the edge?

The problem is solved...

Turned the baseboard around so that the front edge is now the rear edge. That put the track too close to the wall, so the brain cell kicked into action...I screwed a length of 1/2" batten to the edge of the board, that cured the problem in one hit. Actually, I prefer the layout this way round...two birds with one stone, etc.


(no birds were harmed in the making of this post....)
