Question T gauge, a few questions.

I have never modelled in this gauge before so I have a few questions, I would appreciate anything anybody could do to help me with these points:

1) Chassis': These are available from the T gauge society, but just exactly what do they have.
2) Motorisation: I'm guessing that the chassis' aren't motorised, if not, how do you motorise them?
3) Bodyshells: I read somewhere you can make these out of plasticard, if not what do you make them out of also I am thinking of applying a few electra graphics overlays. Do these need bodyshells? I'm GUESSING they do.

Thank you anyone who replies
