Default An American Tourist Train

First, I greatly enjoyed the Prussian Rails video. The emphasis on passenger
movement is distinctly a European feature, and quite charming and
interesting. The working of the layout is enviably smooth.

I am so sorry for the ill health of your family.

Back to this side of the water, I had an opportunity to buy this
complete tourist train for a song. Unlike Britian, there are precious
few steam restorations running about, I'm not sure why, but it
does seem that the British are far more keen on preserving their
magnificent steam heritage.

One is lucky to find a steam tourist train, but more often the case
a shabby switcher of 1950's vintage will be found creeping about
at a rather slow speed, Lord knows I've traveled on a few. Still a
train is a train, and I count myself fortunate to ride one when I can.
