This is what came through my door this morning.
by -petercane44-

And this

And this!,
The class 25 runs nicely,
The class 47 runs a dream,
The 08 shunter is the best running loco I have ever possessed . What a creamer!
I could not believe how slow this thing can go.
AND with an old HM Flyer!

The class 25 lights? On the top front look a bit Toyish.
Are there detailing kits for these?

They do look good. Have you had them running yet?
Jim.

Yes, I have ran all three.
The 47 runs spurbly.
The 08 shunter runs superbly.
The 25 although in mint condition and looks hardly run needs quite a burst of current to get it going which I don't like.
It may need a check up to see if all is in order.
I don't know how to remove the top as there are no screws.

Fine on the two that have proved ok. Someone will be along later to help with removal of the top on the 25 ( it is still early in the day here ).

I cannot agree more.
Superb nice and weighty. It is now my favourite loco.
Would it be possible to send an image of your 3 rail Hornby 08 shunter and also maybe your three rail layout?

Very nice NM, why would anybody want to weather them as discussed on another thread?

That's just it!
That was my problem.
I have answered in detail on the weathering thread.
I agree with you.

Hi I have just purchased a Heljan Bayer Garrett Early crest BR never removed from packing even to photograph it. Paid 310. Have I paid too much. I dont know I have wanted one of these for ages. Chances of finding one made in 2014 and unopened I thought was unlikely. I just could not leave it there, just had to have it.
Be on beans on toaste for rest of the month. .........John
