Default Marking topics as read

Is there a way of marking any/all post(s) read in a forum without having to open each one, as there are some I have no interest in and so would like to mark as seen.

Hi Rob....I just donít open threads that donít appeal to me...but then again you can get some good ideas from some them.....itís just a matter of choice I guess..but I mostly open them and read so I can see if they are ok or they are talking utter nonsense..... I may be new this great hobby but I do have a little bit of knowledge that maybe someone can use....
