The LBSC Directors saloon is now looking a bit more like a coach, sadly much lining now lies ahead... so depressing... so this is either transfers or Bow pen, not quite decided yet, it must be lined out in Gold... and a lot of it.

The LNWR observation car has also entered paint, and now awaiting the lining part, I am a little stuck on paint due to postage and courier postage rates, £20 postage for a small pot of paint.. madness...

Those tiny pots of paint are not cheap either! I saw a lovely colour paint for my diesel but it cost me £1.99 for a tiny 14ml tin! If it wasn't for the lovely colour I'd be buying a large pot and using it for anything and everything, not just for model use!
I noticed trade in them (Paint by post) has died a bit since the Royal Mail has refused posting such items. Is why model shops stock them as they tend to be the main outlets these days.

Our local hobbicraft keep a reasoble stock of Humbrol and Tamiya. Bit much to expect them to keep Railmatch at al I suppose.

Yes I live on the IOW, so might be a little difficult but I will see what cash flow is like. But hoping to attend.... at least.

Sadly we don't have a hobby craft down here, we do have various shops selling Humbrol but their paints are terrible since production arrived back in the UK... haven't used them since. I have used Railmatch but found the colours lacking, too dark or too light.. when compared to the real thing, and sadly they don't do pre grouping.

I haven't progressed much recently, as a number of these models were being built for a magazine, so have been delayed while getting to know the new editor, who seems obsessed with one writer, and not letting anyone have a look in.

So the LBSC Saloon as not moved... awaiting lining still.

The LNWR saloon, the coach has been lined out, however this has now stopped as transfers are not available currently from HMRS, so this has also stopped.

I started a project which I have had on my bench for 3 years but never started... it involves one of these... Purchased from eBay for £26, missing a number of parts...

A tiny update on coaches,
The LBSC carriage, paint should be here next week to line it out... which should be fun... as there is a lot of it. Transfers are being produced as some are not available.
First written part has appeared in the Railway Magazine, guide to modelling... where modelling seems to be quite absent.

The LNWR observation car, transfers have been found thanks to another model rail forum. So I hope to have that sorted by end of August.

And the school's which I showed last time the body shell is almost complete... but what was I going to use it for I wonder..?

As the casing was made of plywood I could suggest firewood. (lol)
