A nice simple piece of track laying was all it seems I had to do, pop a couple of point motors in and Bob's your Uncle. Well I did do that, including using surface mounted point motors, but an idea occurred to me also which took me down a sideline for a couple of days All is revealed in this the latest video https://youtu.be/DNBI_XLCOEc

In this the latest video, I return to scenic work at the remaining gardens at Grey Havens and also a little bit of hillside building, just to fill in time

In the June update I catch-up on the things I have been working on apart from gardening. I also show my first attempt at using Deluxe Ballast Magic. As I promised I have included a demonstration of my gimbal, which took so many goes to get right. I've included outtakes of bits that didn't quite work.

Time to see if the Deluxe Ballast Magic lives up to its advertising. I also take a look at some scenic work I am doing, and the RevolutioN Trains Class B tankers. Finally you get to see two S&DJR engines in harness.

Having completed ballasting and the scenic work up the incline, I realised I needed to stop talking about planning the layout for the raised area where High Elven goods yard and station is to be, and actually do it. Much to my surprise it came together quicker than I expected. I show what I am planning in this video and would be interested in any views people have on the plan
