I managed 15 mins of the first episode - then gave the programme up as a complete disaster. Not to my taste at all.
At least I’ll not waste the time on future episodes.

Must say I have taken it off record. Did not enjoy the first offering much.
Enjoyed the other one by James May when he ran a Hornby Scotsman for miles across Devon. That was fun. But this new one seemed to be a disorganised waste of time.

I think that was because it was James May. I could watch him all day.

Why do I bother posting? If its not of any interest then why bother reading it, the title in the thread is clear enough for its purpose.
Clearly there are people who do want to watch it , and thats who the post aimed at giving a reminder too.
Perhaps I'll just mind my own business, rather than see negative post after negative post.......
Ohh , by the way 'Living in the past ' isnt due to return in the near future.

Don’t be like that. You advertised it and some may not have watched it if you hadn’t done so. The fact they liked or didn’t like it is neither here or there.

You’ve had lots of positive responses to your posts in the past. You have to take the rough with the smooth.

You did your bit, you can do no more.

I wasn't complaining about the post, but I was being critical of the programme.

Hello Sceatchbuilt. No need to take it that way. Think some said thanks for post and the heads up. But if some including me did not like it it was not your fault. We were just being truthful. Chatting about the program. Thats all. John

...and the relevance of me posting a time that the program is on, is exactly what .

If you want to discuss or complain about the quality of TV programs , then start your own thread , and dont rubbish it if you didn't watch it ( or just a few minutes) . As someone who owns/runs a loco like that in the program , and considered all the engineering that goes into a garden railway, its outstanding to make SM32 go 75 miles.
Well done to the program makers, More , More More Please.. With a hundred plus channels to pick from, I chose the Ffestiniog Railway earlier this morning , and Biggest railway , the rest you can keep.
