The bloke in charge is called Dick . What Surname as he got is it Head.

Whilst I watched programme, it did not impress me. Many of the problems should have been discussed before one foot of track was laid, not during that process. Also, they showed a lot of what happened on day 1 without explaining why people were chosen as 'team leaders', skipped days 2 and 3 almost when the real work was happening and spent too much time on nonsense.

Major Dick Strawbridge. Quite a character. He has made some amazing TV programs.

Colonel Dick Strawbridge, ex scrap heap challenge, re married and now lives in the Chateau, in france, featuring on a sunday night series. Also, did the Hungry Sailors, with his son. Somebody, watched James May, and tried to better. I preferred James May. john

He did another series in the west country, about living totally Green, with his first wife, and kids. We watched the french chateau series. He bought a money pit, and is obviously, having to work to pay its upkeep. john

Last year he did a program on real trains Didcot was one place he was at . He was U/S at that as well in my view . These programs need somebody like Pete waterman who knows what they are talking about.

You’re probably right. If somebody rings you up and says will you go to Didcot for 10 grand you’re hardly going to say no.
