Locally known as HS4.......a model rail version is all Scotland can afford given that all the Westminister based government HS money has been spent South of the border, as usual.....

Some ask why are they doing it.
I would think it is simple why they are doing it. It is just a bit of fun, which has following enough to bring enough money to make it worth while to make a film to sell to Television which in turn brings in advertising.
Arr, so you ask why do they do it. The answer is Advertising. At the end of the day. Thats what drives TV.
Sorry about the uninspiring reply, but I feel it is the truth.

But never the less it will be interesting and I shall, along with millions of others be watching it. :

Have you all sobered up yet... Happy new Year:

Second thoughts... Just to add.. This little film is more or less the same thing that James May did in Devon with a Hornby Flying Scotsman a while ago.

Nothing new under the sun is there.

To answer the question first, I hope so!

I agree, it is the way things are on TV, revenue churning is needed to pay for more revenue churning TV and silly money stars to present revenue churning TV! Even the BBC look to revenue with foreign sales so they make things they think they can sell (or commission them).

What do you mean, even the BBC. BBCs main reason is the make programs to sell abroad mainly. And they are good at it..........John
