Dont worry about it. Once you have got though some of it, you will not even remember why...

Heather says you are showing your age. I also, would have been happy with both. Loco is interesting, as its lights and sound work on DC, as well. You obviously. cant choose the functions, but sounds play on a kinda loop. john

Well. Part of what I had I was allowed early so I can do a little modelling.... It was this Faller 4 wheel 0 gauge coach that I saw secondhand at an attractive price.
I am making it narrower and shorter in both directions so it can be used for my narrow gauge railway. I also cast some sides from the parts to make two other coaches of a slightly different design but to a similar style.
They are currently being painted prior to general assembly, hence the photo, which I've also painted some Smallbrook Studio coach kits and a bogie coach body. (See older articles on Mountain Goats Wagon Works... This bogie coach was a push along toy and was blue when it started out). I hope to be using some of the chassis Brian passed my way to get these coaches up and running. They will work well with the Smallbrook kits. Will see what is best to use with the others. The bogie coach already has a chassis made for it.

My main present was a pair of shoes which I need as my other pair of ordinary shoes has a crack in one of the soles.
Other prezzies were smaller items which are fun like a new hot water bottle for if mine gives up, and some things to eat etc. All nice prezzies to receive on a Christmas morning.
I hope everyone has had a good Christmas and had a nice time.

Underneath the Christmas Tree wax AD-8fx when what I had asked for was ADS-8fx.

Didn't know whether to tell her. Receipt in the box showed it was ordered back in September. ADS (the version for Solenoid point motors) now out of stock, replaced by a new model, not available.

Think I will keep it and get some Tortoise point motors.

I have found due to past experience that it is wast of time asking for model railway things because people always with the best intentions get the wrong things. That is why my wife and I have decided to just buy token things for the day and go out and have a good old spending spree after Christmas. That way we dont waste money on thing that neither of us want.
Good idea or what........
Same with what they want because I don't know anything about smelliest and ladies stuff. Or their clothes for that matter. When I like something they don't.

I use the Hattons wish list, same idea as Amazon if you are familiar with that. You just add the items you want and send a link to whovever.
