Just goes to show what can be done with a small plan. This is really good and in fact lot better work than is oftem seen on larger layouts.
Big is not always beautiful is it.

It is good. The best trackmat layout that I have seen. I'd go for 0-6-0's rather then the larger locomotives as they are more appropriate to the train lengths on the layout.
The scenic touch is stunning.

Shelvington is not a trakmat layout, being end-to-end, but it comes into the smaller layouts category. It has been exhibited before and featured on this forum. In this appearance, January 2018, we see different SR multiple units. EM trackwork makes it look very realistic. Enjoy.
