Looks good. Is this Hornby 'testing the water' with a new scale?

I hope it's not that scale. Imagine trying to smuggle that indoors.

It is a great show but in my opinion far too big. In fact I think its vast size has spoilt it. If you spend all day there and get to see a third of it properly you will be lucky.

I understand what you mean there used to be a great town and country show at Stonleigh show ground near Coventry until they started to fill it with market stalls and any old junk

Yes I know what you mean by too big. But Is that not a good indicator that there must be greater interest in the hobby, and that means things are looking up.
If there is enough interest to support an Exhibition of that size in the centre of England it must mean there is growing interest for the Hobby as a whole. Or, do I detect that some of the southern boy's would be happier if it was down south of Englend insead of so far north. It is of course Midlands to be honest. John

No problem getting to the NEC from down here. Can't be bothered because the show is too big. They could hold it here and I still wouldn't go. Lets not get into the old argument about where Wembley should be. If it was anywhere else it wouldn't be Wembley. It has iconic status.
Went to Birmingham the other day for a train ride, 16 return. Cheaper than the NEC car park, well almost.
