I'm back (cue groans from the audience) so its time to share some photos from the North. I've just put a couple here but there are more available to view on my Flickr site if any one is interested.

Excellent Steve - as per usual. I expect you took them with a Brownie whilst standing on your head with one eye closed.

Welcome back.

Looks like a fascinating place and I guess you enjoyed it yourself. Great photos.

Groan! Groan! He's back
Hope you had a good holiday. Don't let RogerB take the mickey about you standing on one leg - he's normally legless. He still wants to see the photos.
Seriously, where did you photograph the Manor?

If it's the one I'm thinking of, it was in the sidings next to the engine shed at Grosmont.
And as for the 'extreme' techniques, this time I had the dog pulling one hand while trying to hold the camera with the other.
