Actually, Duke Sir (how does one address you?) I was thinking the litter could be scattered around the layout. Or, for maximum authenticity, placed alongside the running lines and let the draught from passing trains make it billow around the layout. Also, I did think of some rather less pleasant items to be found in rubbish these days, but in order to maintain the decorum of this venerable website declined to mention them.

I already have discarded cigarette packets and dog ends on my layout but they are so small you canít see them.

A group of Britons were travelling by tour bus through Holland.

As they stopped at a cheese farm, a young guide led them through

the process of cheese making, explaining that goat's milk was used.

She showed the group a lovely hillside where many goats were grazing.

'These' she explained, 'Are the older goats put out to pasture when they no longer produce.'

She then asked, 'What do you do in England with your old goats?'

A spry old gentleman answered, 'They send us on bus tours!
