Scary stuff! Living in the highlands of Scotland, we used to hear and see them fly just above the loch. The cat threw his ears back with a wide eyed WTF look on his face

Haha. I remember one of my cousins boys who was about 7 or 8 saying what his my had text him when my grandmother had died. She text him "Grans died LOL". She thought it meant "Lots of love".
If she knew what LOL meant she would have not text it. Her son was puzzled!

That must have been a memorable day. Another good reason to take the
train.

I shall carefully avoid telling the joke about a flight attendant asking a passenger which type of TWA beverage he would like....

Standing on the 'up main' platform at Exeter. HST about to leave when a guy rushes down the stairs and holds the door open. An elderly lady (of about 150) hobbles down the stairs and gets on and the train leaves. The platform staff remonstrate with the guy who complains that the train had left 5 minutes early! Turns out the old dear was going to Birmingham but the previous train (which she was on) was first stop Reading.
Well, I thought it was funny.

Sounds good to me.

If you can always be cheerful, ignore aches and pains,

If you can resist complaining and boring people with your troubles,

If you can eat the same food every day and be grateful for it,

If you can understand when your loved ones are too busy to give you any time,

If you can take criticism and blame without resentment,

If you can conquer tension without medical help,

If you can relax without alcohol,

If you can sleep without the aid of drugs,

Then You Are Probably The Family Dog!

And you thought I was going to get all spiritual.

Handle every stressful situation like a dog.

If you can't eat it or play with it, p*ss on it and walk away!!
