Default Pinnacle Pro-effect pigments

I just bought three jars of weathering powders from ebay. Pinnacle Pro-effect Pigments. 1.Coal Dust
2.Rust Stage1
3.Light Ash.
They are 50ml jars. Humbrol are around the same price for 28ml. Which is what I was looking to get at first. Anyone tried them? I’m going to have a go at weathering (the tender to start with) my Duke Of Gloucester. I found two boxes of pastels and although a few of the colours are mid to light blues and reds also some greens, I am going to scrape the sticks using my scalpel, then experiment with mixing the colours.

I bought the 'browns' and 'greens' etc and mixed in with wet plaster of paris (before it had set) for scenery effects and found they worked well , I've not used them dry as a powder , but they have the right 'feel' to do a good job..

They look to be good value. I’ll have to find some little tubs for keeping mixed pigments in. My goodness, this hobby should keep the old grey matter working

Are we talking about the containers for the 35mm films for cameras? If they are not making them now, what are they keeping the films in these days? I've not bought a film for my camera for a little while now.

I’ll have a rummage, I used to have some. I’ve just had a thought (gosh, that’s the seccond one this year already! Ha ha), the caps off aerosol cans. I could just ignore wifey’s puzzled looks as she wonders where they’ve all gone to .

In that case, I think I’ll just start eating more yoghurt for the pots.

They hardly sell any film.
