Tri-ang may be in front with their legal team?
They manufactured a very similar shovel looking R160 hand uncoupler in the 1960s/70s. http://www.tri-ang.co.uk/OONew/decoupler.htm

I know, thatís where I got the idea. Mine are in colour and the next ones will be digital. I have a couple of Triang versions.

An interesting uncoupler I have seen on a number of exhibition layouts is glue some bristles in a hole between sleepers. To all intents and purposes it just looks like a tuft of grass but drive over it quickly and your wagons stay hooked go over it slowly and they unhook.
