Default Side Cutters for point motor drive rods

In Tesco tools section they are selling side cutters for £2.68 which are ideal for trimming off the drive pin of solenoid or Stall point motors.

They look good FB but I have had pliers with those big thick plastic handles before and after a while one or more of the handles has always started to work loose and fall off. I think that may be why they are going cheap.
Only birds go cheap.

OK then, wrong glue I guess.

You can still use them, they just become uninsulated cutters.

Perhaps Brian but good quality tools work without the hassle. You cant buy good quality pliers for couple of quid. Now be honest, you know that Brian.

Probably don't want to be using good quality pliers for cutting 1.2mm steel rod!

That would be the very reason FB suggested them. Might get some for similar jobs, if I can find some.
