Default Brookside Miniature Railway

The Brookside Miniature Railway in Poynton, Cheshire is due to close at the end of September 2018. The current operator of 50 years has been given notice to leave by the owners Strike Garden Centres.

All the engines, carriages and railwayana will be sold at an auction as Stike only own the track and buildings.

What is not clear is whether the railway will be operating again as another site states that the railway will under go refurbishment.
