Power Connections? Back then they only used the power connecting clips which slotted into the track through little holes. These would be shown in the right positions if one was to wire the layout for DC.

Whilst we are on this subject, the following entry describes a project to recreate an old Tri-ang Hornby layout. I cannot make this layout in SCARM with modern Hornby track sections. I have got some old Tri-ang points R612/3. these are not the same as R8072/3 the old R612 has a shorter curve, so that's why old track plans cannot be made and presumably why the number was changed. Anyway, the plan is interesting. I think you could make something like it, but it would necessitate a larger baseboard. In the entry below, it looks like he has made some progress. ?.
