the red reverse loop could be handy, pull train into the station, uncouple run round the loop and your able to pull it out again with the loco turned round saves having a parallel track and turn table for dealing with steam engines, but again its made out of R1 curves so your limited to what you can turn around. if you consider the cost of a turntable then the reverse module for DCC wont be a price issue. just depends on what type of operation you fancy.
