Default Shed baseboard layout

Hi guys.

In another thread I have stated that I am looking into where I can have a permanent layout and between me and the family we are zeroing in on a shed.
Space is at a premium in our garden as we already have a 10 by 8 shed.
This in mind I am thinking about a 6 by 5 shed and doing it out with insulation and the likes but with no windows.

My plan is to have an end to end layout round the outside of the shed as I don't like for now my chances of getting a lift out or foldable section across the door correct.

I'm looking to do the baseboard 500mm across, as above this round the edges, it leaves me with about 600mm for myself in the middle of it all, as a channel going the length of the shed. I'm an average frame at 5ft 5 so I don't see this being an issue.

One final thing based on my height above what height should i set the boards at do you think?

Thanks Alex

Hello Alex. I'm building an end to end. I set my baseboard height so that I could work on it comfortably - about 3 foot in old money. I've seen some layouts at exhibitions that are almost eye level but I suspect this is for aesthetics rather than practicalities.

@Alex - you don't say if your measurements for the shed are metres or feet (or yards).

I suspect feet as you say space is at a premium, but it would help if you could clarify this.

Sorry I thought it was implied by saying 5 by 6 being foot, sorry.

dimensions of the shed I am looking at will be 5ft by 6ft Pent roof with a gable end access door
