Well...... I have had a very expensive month. Everything broke down the same time. Note to self - when refurbishing, don't replace everything at the same time, they will all break down within a few days of each other and it's not . I cry when I think of the loco's I could have got for that call out fee, that replacement item ......etc.etc. I have not menentioned the time spent doing domestics .

Everything now werky werky on the domestic front for the while any way.

My two lads put underlay and carpet (ex lounge/dining room stuff) on the floor of the garage. I managed to get rid of the all-metal bench this week and so I need to rethink the overall size of the layout . I will need to measure up.

That's beginning to look like a cosy railway room. You just need a kettle, a beer fridge, a cosy chair and a TV and you do not have to bother SWAMBO except for meals and bedtime

Thanks GTH. It has taken quite a while. There is at least two loads of bits and pieces for the recycling centre. Next is to measure up and then look for one of those room heaters that I can leave on but temperature controlled. I'll leave the painting 'til later .

Thanks Richard, now a wall heater or something to warm it up a bit.

I can make do without tea or coffee. The beer can remain outside at the moment as it's cold enough. Yes I will need an easy chair (with wheels) but rarely watch TV so that will not bother me at all.

Track layout here I come!
