Well I think I must have missed it the first time so thanks for showing it again. It looks really good and shows what can be done with a bit of imagination, time and skill.

NO,,GWR only had pretty stock , and in a nice shade of green ,--with sweet polished domes in brass , and gleaming pipes - coaches in choc and cream , then some s-d went and nationalised them - and we ended up multi shades of black ,grime - sh-t no real country stations - but I wont moan about the new stock and the colours , because lots of people like them /// saying all that - Brian, that is a very good bit of modelling - also have you got a track plan of your new venture ???? regards Dave

It would look brill if the track cleaning wagon was also in yellow. Love the model you have made. Would it be possible to make one as a track cleaner or would the internal workings be in the way?

I dont totally understand what you mean MG, i do have track cleaners in yellow, the model tamper i built is a copy of the real thing ( which would never have a cleaner underneath them )

When you mentioned track cleaner body I thought it was an ideal disguise for a track cleaner to fit inside a model of a tamping machine. The comment about the yellow was that the track cleaner in blue would match the tamper if it were in yellow.
Hope it makes sense.
I like your tamper. It looks good.

A tamper would be a good model for a RTR manufacturer to make. Bachmann did one in H0 but it looked noticeably out of scale for a 00 gauge layout. Why I never bought one when they came out.
