Default Just Plug Lighting System

I'm planning a small N gauge layout and was considering investing in a hub and a few Just Plug lights from Woodland Scenics. I'm not afraid of wiring or soldering but it's only 2'x4' DC so I'm not planning on having a bus wire running around it and it seems a lot of work wiring leds and resistors etc. for such a small layout. Just thinking initially about lighting a few buildings, then maybe scratch building some street lights with the Nano leds.

Has anyone used them, if so, are they any good? The promo video on the website looks intriguing but it'd be nice to hear some real world feedback.

I've not used this product myself but it seems an expensive way of going about it.
Have a look at some of the products from China on eBay that do the same job at a fraction of the price.

This is the sort of thing I was referring to in the last post as used on my layout.

That looks really useful, thanks! I'm still in planning, but after having looked around on eBay as per your suggestion I think that I may invest in some of the stuff on there. I had no idea it was so cheap in some cases. I even found some street lights with included resistors, so I will probably do the leds by hand now.
